If you are interested in joining the lab as an undergraduate researcher or a PhD student:

Please note that PhD students are only accepted into the lab after doing a research rotation. Therefore, if you are interested in joining the lab as a PhD student, you may apply to the Quantitative Biology PhD program, and in your letter of intent, indicate that you are interested in joining the Boutte lab, as well as other labs in the department, and that you plan to do rotations during your first year. Rotations are only available for students who join the PhD program in the Fall semester, so you must apply for admission in the Fall to rotate.
